Born 11th March, 2006
as part of a large litter of seven!
It was after Spot had this (her one and only litter)
that she was DNA marker linkage tested as "Probable Affected"
Luckily- Duggie (her bed-mate and sire of the litter)
DNA Marker Linkage tested as "Probable Clear".
This meant that the whole litter are only ""Probable Carriers".
As such they will never develop Fanconi -
and to date (10th January 2010) - their mother Spot also has no symptoms!!
HEALTH TESTING
Hip Dysplasia : 5:2 (OFA Good)
Eyes : Slight iris to iris PPM's.
Fanconi DNA Marker Linkage tested as
Probable Carrier.
Smarti is a "fizzgig" - she "fizzes" around everywhere -
with the loudest shout for a yodel,
that I have ever heard - and a tail that wags nonstop!
On occasions she CAN stand still!!

Smarti will have her first litter in 2010 -
to our new boy Yulara Mutua (Imp Sweden)
Hopefully, she can stand still long enough to rear a litter of puppies!!
